About Tresa Buquicchio, Winter park therapistHi, It’s great to see you here.
I’m Tresa, a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern. I’ve been working in the mental health field for the past five years and received my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Stetson University.
I believe in creating a space where women feel truly seen, heard, and understood. My own experience navigating hormonal health has shown me how isolating it can feel when your experiences aren’t fully understood. Through my own journey, I’ve learned how empowering itcan be to better understand and advocate for your own body, which has deepened my passion for helping other women feel empowered in their own healing.
Women deserve to feel supported as a whole person, not just through one aspect of their health or life. I feel women’s mental health is deeply connected to physical health, relationships, life experiences, and the many roles we carry. I want to help women feel more connected to themselves and empowered to better understand and care for their body, mind, and spirit.
My approach is compassionate, curious, holistic, and empowering. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where women feel heard, supported, and encouraged to reconnect with themselves and their own strengths.
When I’m not working, I’m probably practicing yoga, drinking coffee, thrifting for things I absolutely do not need, tending to my garden before the Florida sun kills my plants, or planning my next trip.
My music taste ranges from José González, Gregory Alan Isakov, and Jorja Smith to ’90s/2000s throwbacks—basically, a little indie, a little soul, and a lot of nostalgia.
I’m a Pisces Sun, Pisces Moon, and Sagittarius Rising.
Becoming a mother leaves no woman as it found her.
It unravels her and rebuilds her, it cracks her open, takes her to her edges.
It's both beautiful and brutal; often at the same time.

my philosophy I believe…
𑁍 Healing happens when we feel seen and understood.
𑁍 Women deserve to feel at home in themselves.
𑁍 We were never meant to do it all alone.
𑁍 We are shaped by our connections to ourselves and others.
𑁍 Your healing is your own–there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing.
𑁍 Circumstances change and so do we—and there is freedom in allowing ourselves the space to evolve.
